Parents of junior high and high school students in Stoughton, MA, got a rude wakeup call this month. We’d love to say that the Democrat Party “threw them under the bus,” but in this case, the buses aren’t showing up at all. The parents in the Boston suburban community were informed that bus service has been canceled for all junior and high school kids because the school district needs the buses to drive illegal alien kids to school instead.
Stoughton Public Schools sent an urgent letter to parents last week, saying that their students were not being denied bus service because of the illegal alien kids. While that is technically true, it’s also not completely honest.
The Massachusetts state government does not require school districts to provide bus service to students in grades 7 through 12. However, a separate state law requires districts to provide bus service to any students living in hotels or shelters. Those would be the illegal alien kids. The district simply doesn’t have enough buses to provide service to both the American kids and the illegals.
We have a serious question for all American parents living in the Boston area right now. Do you think this problem will get better if you vote for the drunk sorority girl acting as our fake “Border Czar” this November?
Of course, it won’t. The problem will only get worse if Kamala Harris becomes the next president. Your children will have fewer educational opportunities, reduced lifetime wages, and skyrocketing housing costs because there’s no way that the woman who caused the problem is going to fix it.
