Media Watchdog Exposes The Media’s Jaw-Dropping Bias

If you feel like the mainstream media is still living in 2020, you’re not alone—and you’re not wrong. Despite watching their credibility implode during Joe Biden’s presidency, the major networks haven’t learned a thing. They’re back on the same tired playbook, trashing Donald Trump at every turn, and pretending Americans can’t see through it.

A new analysis by Newsbusters reveals just how absurd things have gotten: 92% of all Trump coverage on ABC, CBS, and NBC during his first 100 days back in office has been negative. Not just critical—relentlessly hostile. Compare that to Biden’s first 100 days, when coverage was nearly 60% positive despite historic crises unfolding on his watch.

These aren’t fringe channels either. Their evening broadcasts average nearly 20 million viewers per night. That’s a massive audience being fed a steady diet of spin and omission, all designed to damage Trump while propping up progressive narratives.

The coverage breakdown is even more damning when you look at the policy topics involved:

  • Tariffs: Out of 361 minutes of coverage, 93% was negative—despite Trump’s new tariff policy already showing signs of reviving domestic manufacturing.
  • DOGE (Department of Government Efficiency): This major cost-saving reform has been a target of 97% negative coverage. The media is spinning slashed waste and fraud as reckless destruction of government.
  • Immigration: Even though Trump has cut illegal crossings by over 99%, coverage on this success was still 93% negative—and only 3.5 minutes of airtime mentioned the actual border progress.

It’s not just Trump taking the heat either. Anyone in his cabinet who dares challenge the swamp gets the same treatment. HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has received 89% negative coverage. Elon Musk, head of DOGE, has been slammed in 96% of stories. And Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth? A perfect score—100% negative reporting.

Remember, this isn’t about presenting facts or balanced journalism. It’s about shaping a narrative. When Biden was in office and the country was unraveling, networks tiptoed around the chaos. Now that Trump’s delivering on his promises—mass deportations, record-low border crossings, American jobs coming back—the media’s rage meter is maxed out.

And make no mistake: This kind of spin works. It helped carry Biden across the finish line in 2020. It kept voters in the dark about real scandals, real policy disasters, and real consequences. It can happen again if conservatives underestimate the media’s power to manipulate low-information voters.

What the legacy press is doing isn’t journalism—it’s political warfare masquerading as news. These are the same networks that told us Biden was mentally sharp while he wandered off stages. The same networks that buried his border crisis until it became impossible to ignore. The same networks that cheered as cities crumbled under left-wing policies.

Now they want to turn back the clock by gaslighting voters once again. But this time, the public has receipts—and eyes wide open.

It’s up to conservative media and everyday citizens to keep calling it out and sharing the truth. Because if we don’t, the networks will keep selling the lie, hoping enough Americans are still buying.
