White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre is not known for keeping her cool under pressure, especially when someone mentions President Joe Biden’s mental status, capacity, or dexterity. When she was called in to speak with host Mark Garrison of WBT Charlotte, she found herself quickly being cornered by that very question.
As Garrison explained it, when he told people he would be speaking with her, many wanted him to ask her about Biden and dementia. Her response, was typical, and over the top while still not answering the question at hand. After stammering and proclaiming her offense at such a question, she finally got something tangible out.
“For the past several years, the President’s physician has laid out very, in a comprehensive way, the President’s health. Uh, this is a president, if you watch him every day, if you really pay attention to his record and what he has done, you will see exactly how focused he’s been on the American people, how historic his actions has [sic] been. And so I’m not even going to truly, truly, uh, uh, really, you know, take, take the premise of your question.”
She then shifted gears and talked about her latest ways to Blame President Trump and Russia for Bidenflation, and then ended the call very sharply. This typical response of Jean-Pierre is something that should concern Americans of all backgrounds and political beliefs. Her inability to answer simple questions, and in turn deflecting away from the problems with this administration is embarrassing to us as a nation.
