California Goes to Outrageous Lengths to Block Voter ID

Democrats in California are doing everything they can possibly think of to ensure that the state never has fair elections again. The city of Huntington Beach voted on a municipal measure to start requiring voter ID in 2026. Democrats in the state Assembly freaked out. They passed a law immediately banning any city in the state from asking for voter ID, and Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) signed it into law.

That’s not good enough for left-wing Attorney General Rob Bonta, however. Bonta filed a lawsuit against Huntington Beach and demanded that a Superior Court judge issue an injunction to stop the city from asking for voter ID. Fortunately, the judge rejected the suit on the grounds that it was too soon for the Attorney General’s office to file it.

Judge Nico Dourbetas told Bonta that there was no conflict with the state law, so Huntington Beach’s municipal rule could remain in place. Bonta is pitching a hissy fit. Like most of the Democrats in California, he knows that all of the state’s elections are as fake as one of Joe Biden’s body doubles.

Mass mail-in voting with no voter ID and no signature verification means that the Democrat Party can steal seats with impunity. Huntington Beach is part of Congressional District 47 in California. Rep. Dave Min (D-CA) won the seat by a razor-thin 10,000 votes in the 2024 election. If Huntington Beach requires voter ID in 2026, Rob Bonta and the rest of the Democrats know they’re going to lose that seat.

Sadly, California is too far gone when it comes to election fraud for the state to ever turn around on its own. Despite being a mostly red state, Republican voters will never be able to regain control of the legislature as long as institutional voter fraud remains legal. The only way things will change is if the US Department of Justice starts raiding election offices and throwing the fraudsters in jail. (Fingers crossed!)
