If You’ve been paying any attention to the polls recently, you know that former President Donald Trump’s popularity only seems to be going up. In fact, he’s so well liked now that even CNN has to admit he’s doing better than Joe Biden.

CNN’s new poll, conducted by SSRS, found that Trump is now leading the current president 49 percent to 43 percent, should the 2024 election become a 2020 rematch between the two candidates. In January, this same poll resulted in Trump up 49 percent to Biden’s 45 percent.

Additionally, the poll asked about the presidencies of the two men overall. A majority of 55 percent now view Trump’s single term as a success. Shortly after the January 6 Capitol incursion, this sat around 44 percent.

In comparison, Biden’s tenure is now viewed as a complete failure so far by a whopping 69 percent. A mere and delusional 39 percent think it has been a success.

Now, of course, those on the left might try to claim this as an outlier of sorts. But recent polls from NBC News, Emerson, New York Times/Sienna College, and Daily Kos/Civiqs all seem to say the same thing. Trump has anywhere from a one to three-point lead over Biden in any given poll, according to RealClearPolitics.

As for the average, RCP has Trump leading Biden 46 to 45 percent.

Another thing to point out is that Trump is also ahead in every single battleground state. Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin all show Trump ahead by at least 1.1 points (Pennsylvania) to 6.3 points (Georgia), according to Newsweek.

And FiveThirtyEight agrees with this in most states.

In fact, according to Newsweek, should the election happen today, Trump would be the first Republican president to win not only the Electoral College but also the popular vote since George W. Bush in 2004.

And if even CNN is reporting on this, it means bad news for Biden…
