Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) was at a book signing a few days ago when a conservative provocateur managed to get right in her face. We’re not sure what book she was signing. It was probably titled, “How to Get Filthy Stinking Rich with Insider Trading and Never Get Caught.” (TLDR)
At any rate, the conservative prankster was physically removed by Pelosi’s ever-present squadron of security guards. That wasn’t before he managed to ask her some very pointed questions about her uncanny stock-picking abilities.
Alex Strenger put on a COVID mask and a “White Dudes for Harris” T-shirt as a disguise, which allowed him to sneak up to her table. While the childless cat ladies were waiting for an autograph from Pelosi, no one noticed him in his “I am a low-T soy boy who votes for Democrats” costume. Strenger even kept up the ruse by announcing that his pronouns were “He/They” and stating that the only way to “save democracy” is by putting Donald Trump in prison for the rest of his life.
Everyone fell for it initially, but then Strenger started to unload on Pelosi about her shady stock trading. For anyone who has forgotten, Nancy Pelosi has amassed a $240 million fortune by trading on tech stocks that Nancy regulates in Congress. Normal people go to prison for that, because it’s known as insider trading. In Pelosi’s case, though, she has gotten massively wealthy despite scraping by on a $174,000 annual congressional salary.
We’re just happy that Strenger’s encounter with Nancy was caught on camera. Here it is:
