“Devil Comet” to Appear During Daytime, Is it a Sign of How Godless America Has Become?

In this age, everything has a scientific explanation, doesn’t it? But what if some things should be seen as a sign of more, a sign that we are headed down the wrong path and need to change, perhaps? A literal sign from above.

I give you the Pons-Brooks comet.

If you know much about astronomy, you might recall that this comet is also known as the “Devil’s comet.” It only comes around once every 71 years and can usually only be seen with a telescope or binoculars.

But this year, on April 8, it will show its horns (more on that later) during the daylight and to the naked eye. Now, one of the things that will make this possible is that it will show up on the same day and at the same time as we experience a total solar eclipse, as the Washington Post reports.

According to Sky Live, it could even be visible to most of us nationwide due to the solar eclipse, from Texas to Maine, and for the totality of the eclipse. However, that depends on the comet’s brightness at the time.

Of course, this also makes it even more of a rarity.

I mean, two solar phenomes on the same day, at the same time? Maybe that alone should be a sign from the heavens.

The other is the comet itself.

History tells us that it was first discovered in 1812 by French astronomer Jean-Louis Pons (the first part of its name). Then, in 1883, William Brooks (the second half) saw it.

Since then, it has earned the nickname the “Devil’s comet” because of its major cryovolcanic activity. What this means for those of us without science degrees is that it has large eruptions of both gas and ice that often cause it to flare over 100 times brighter at certain times. These flares also give its coma (the gassy planet-sized cloud around the core) to appear like devil horns.

Let’s just say anything that ends up looking like a devil on a regular occasion usually gets some attention, as it should.

But like I said, this year is different.

We don’t just get a cool total solar eclipse. And we don’t just get the Devil’s comet. Instead, we get both on the same day, at the same time.

Many would call that a sign from heaven. Add to that the fact that this nation and this world are in a state of complete corruption and chaos.

A sign of what? Well, that’s anyone’s guess.

Maybe God is trying to get our attention. Maybe he’s trying to tell us something. Or perhaps it’s a warning.

It wouldn’t be the first time he spoke through the stars.

He did in Genesis to lead the Israelites through the desert day and night. He also did it following the birth of his son Jesus Christ to guide the magi to the child. And, of course, the Book of Revelation is filled with strange signs and astronomical events.

Could this be one of them?

At this point, your guess is as good as mine.

But these things don’t happen very often. So when they do, perhaps it’s time we should start taking notice, and in more than just an astrological sense.

Maybe it doesn’t mean the end times, or Armageddon is coming. It could just be something to get us thinking, to maybe notice the signs, not only in the stars but in the heart of our nation.

It wouldn’t be a bad thing if enough of us took notice enough to change the trajectory of our hell-bound country, would it?
